Baseball is in full swing throughout the Rogue Valley at all levels. Every night baseball diamonds throughout Southern Oregon are filled with baseball players of all ages and skill levels, from Tee-Ball all the way up through High School. But it doesn’t stop there. Medford is also home to the Medford Rogues, a local independent collegiate wood bat baseball team. The team was recently acquired by new ownership, and as a result we wanted to update you on all the latest news regarding the teams upcoming schedule for Spring 2023.
The Medford Rogues will host the Seattle Studs June 1-3 as their 2023 home opener at Harry & David Field! The studs are one of 13 teams the Rogues will face this season, with teams spanning from Nevada and California all the way up into Washington and Alaska. The best news is, the Rogues play all but seven of their games at home, meaning there are 40 opportunities to get out and see them play this season in Medford.
Not only does the team have a tremendous amount of home games this season, but they make it easy to remember when and where the games are held. The Rogues play at Harry & David Field, with games times always at 6:35 p.m. Single game tickets range from $10-$13, with season tickets starting at $199. That means even if you only attended half of the home games this season, you’d still be saving money by becoming a season ticket holder.
Often times, several of the home games will host a particular group, in addition to the team’s normal fan base. The Rogues are known for their love and support of local organizations, including the Southern Oregon Sports Commission. In fact, on Saturday, June 3 the Rogues will host a Know Your Role Night at the stadium. Attendees will receive Know Your Role branded swag, and representatives from KYR and the Southern Oregon Sports Commission will be in attendance to answer any questions about the program, and to cheer our Rogues onto victory.
As sports fans, trust us when we say there is nothing worse than showing up on game day wearing the opposing team’s colors. The best way to avoid this is to be sure you have your Medford Rogues swag ready to go prior to game day. The Rogues Dugout store is open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located on South Pacific Hwy. Be sure to swing by for all your team gear needs.
To all of our baseball fans throughout the Rogue Valley, the Southern Oregon Sports Commission wishes you the best of luck this upcoming season. We hope to see you out supporting the Rogues this season, and look forward to some great summer nights out at the ball park. For more information visit medfordrogues.com.
