The Pear Blossom Festival is an annual event held in Medford, Oregon, typically in the month of April, to celebrate the beauty of the pear orchards in the Rogue Valley region. The festival has been a tradition in Medford for 70 years and features a wide range of activities and events for people of all ages. The festival includes a parade, which is one of the largest parades in Southern Oregon, featuring colorful floats, marching bands, and community groups. Spring is the perfect time to visit over 18 tasting rooms in Applegate Wine Country and celebrating harvest season at the Uncorked Barrel Tour is the perfect way to see it all! The wine grapes have been picked, pressed, and barreled, and the winemakers have time to chat. Pick your starting location, and let yourself be lured from one winery to the next. Each will offer an appetizer and wine for tasting. You’ll even get to meet some of the latest releases! Uncorked is a great opportunity to stock up on wine for the Summer. Uncorked has an incentive for designated drivers where they don’t need to purchase a ticket but may still sample the food.

The Ashland Independent Film Festival is generally two weeks in April of the highest quality independent film in this historic town the Washington Post called it "a dream you'll never want to leave." Every Spring, Southern Oregon is buzzing with the excitement of the AIFF. Over 7,000 film lovers attend the event held at different locations including the Varsity, the Historic Ashland Armory, ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum and Walkabout Brewing Company in Medford and gather to watch over 100 documentary, feature, and short films in five days. Filmmakers from around the world engage with audiences after each screening and at festival events. Grab a blanket or chair, and join other movie-lovers for an event to remember!

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is a Tony Award-winning company that was founded in 1935 and has grown from a three-day festival of two plays to a nationally renowned theatre arts organization that presents a rotating repertory season of up to eight plays and musicals, including both classics and new work. The trailhead for the hike is located at Prescott Park in East Medford, and from there, hikers can choose to take either the Lower or Upper Roxy Ann Trail. Discovery Park

Discovery Park, located directly off of the Rogue River, is home to the seasonal series "Concert on the Rocks". Guests can arrive to one of these exclusive shows by jet boat, or guided raft, or even their own boat, to witness their favorite bands perform on a floating stage on the water. It is truly a one of a kind music experience featuring local musicians, food and drinks! Rogue Jet Boat Adventures boats this bucket list item that you must experience while visiting Southern Oregon. Barnstormer's Vintage Fair is a super fun vintage and handmade market held 3 times a year in beautiful Southern Oregon. This event is held at the Jackson County Expo with over 80 vendors including food trucks and adult beverages. Support our local makers by making a day out of it and thrift through handmade goods and home décor.

For the past 6 years, LongSword Vineyard has hosted this fun kite-flying event on their family owned, farmed, and operated vineyard & winery located in the heart of the Applegate Valley. Make sure to get out there for a weekend of wine, libations and big kites! Professional fliers will keep you in awe and they also recommend you BYOK (bring your own kite) to participate in the festivities.

Held on Memorial Day Weekend, the Ashland World Music Festival brings this major culture-bearing festival to Lithia Park for a weekend full of music and dance! All festival events are FREE, family friendly, & ADA accessible. Join the festivities and immerse yourself in one of their engaging events including HeartBeat Stories, a percussion workshop, a community samba dance on Ashland’s downtown Plaza, and a weekend of SoundWalking through beautiful downtown Ashland.

Toketee Falls is a stunning waterfall, located in the Umpqua National Forest and is a true natural wonder that should not be missed! The hike to Toketee Falls is a short and an incredibly scenic one, taking you through a beautiful forest and along the North Umpqua River. Along the way, you will see towering trees, lush foliage, and stunning river views. As you get closer to the falls, you will hear the roar of the water and feel the cool mist on your face, adding to the excitement and anticipation of seeing the waterfall up close. The 120-foot waterfall drops into a crystal-clear pool, surrounded by sheer rock cliffs and beautiful wildflowers. It's a truly awe-inspiring sight that will leave you feeling invigorated and inspired.
