NATURAL BRIDGE LOOP

The 2 mile trail begins at the Natural Bridge Viewpoint parking lot and  travels upriver on the east side of the Rogue River. The Upper Rogue  Wild and Scenic River dives into an ancient lava tube and runs  underground, forming a natural land bridge. Beaver ponds, birds and  numerous tree and plant species add interest to the trail. The paved  trail is barrier-free, and has benches to rest.

Beautiful Views

Located right off Highway 62 near Union Creek, the Natural Bridge Trail is out and back and easily accessible to travelers.

There is a parking lot pull out right off the main road with the trailhead visible in the northwest corner. The entirety of this hike is paved with the exception of a picturesque footbridge crossing. The is interpretive information and multiple viewpoints along the way.

GETTING THERE

The Natural Bridge Loop is approximately 45 miles north east of Medford located off Highway 62. From Prospect, OR travel 9 miles north along Highway 62.

The Pull of for this trail is right before Union Creek, which is a must stop as well for your travels. You will find general store, the famous Beckie's Cafe as well as an Ice Cream Shop. 

Just past Union Creek is the Rogue River Gorge trails.
