HIKING PEARSONY FALLS

This is one of the most beautiful and picturesque waterfalls in the region! The Pearsony Falls Trail is a quick, out and back trail along Mill Creek. The trail to the falls is a well-maintained, ten-minute hike to an almost otherworldly mossy wonderland. Spend some time here to enjoy the views, put your feet in the water, take some pictures and enjoy the natural beauties of the falls. The trail continues after the falls for another half mile, offering fantastic views of the Rogue River and Prospect Bridge. Pack a lunch or grab something to eat from the Prospect Store across from the trailhead, and enjoy your meal at one of the many picnic tables.

As you hike back, you’ll notice some beautiful wildflowers in the spring and summer, as well as lovely fall foliage throughout autumn. Though accessible in the winter, the trail can be muddy or even snowy in the colder months.

Though short, Pearsony Falls is a must-hike for any skill level. From fantastic views to the majestic falls themselves, don't miss this beautiful location when you travel to the Heart of the Rogue!
