FEATURED ATTRACTIONS

In 1952, the Roxy Ann Gem & Mineral Society was formed. Club members gathered to discuss their favorite dig sites, organize field trips and show off their finds. Their first rock show, held in 1953, mainly featured members’ collections and crafts. But since Freida and Delmar Smith entrusted the operation and development of the Crater Rock Museum to the Society, the annual rock show has become a spectacular showcase of lapidary works, gems and minerals, vendors and demonstrations of lapidary and jewelry techniques.
Join us on March 30–31 to celebrate our 58th Annual Gem & Mineral Show. With more than 25 vendors participating, you’re sure to find one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry, or that wire-wrapped sunstone you’ve been craving. Do you have a specimen you need identified? Bring it to the show and ask our experts! At the Gem & Mineral Show you will find exhibits, demonstrations, lectures, good food and more.
The show will be held at Scenic Middle School, 1847 Scenic Ave, across from the Crater Rock Museum in Central Point. Join us Saturday, March 30, 9am–5:30pm and Sunday, March 31, 10am–4:30pm. There’s plenty of free parking! For more information, please call 541–664–6081.
